Alex is a registered clinical psychologist with a passion for understanding clients’ needs from their perspective, prioritising an empathic listening style.
With over 15 years experience, Alex has been supporting people of all ages with a variety of needs. He has specialised training in counselling for stress management, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, anger management, eating disorders, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), relationship difficulties, life adjustments, and grief and loss.
Alex embraces a compassionate approach to helping people find their balance, direction, and true purpose in life. He enjoys working with individuals, couples and families, facilitating and supporting them in re-establishing harmony and a deeper sense of identity and connection with themselves and others.
As an advocate of the mind-body-spirit connection, Alex adopts a holistic approach to psychological support. He believes that our overall wellbeing is closely linked to how we look after ourselves in the many different areas of our lives and he offers a variety of strategies to assist with this.
Alex trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Italy before moving to Australia where he has been living and working in both the public and private sectors for the past 10 years. His main interests are cycling, travelling, spending time with his kids, computers and technology in general, yoga, meditation, and music.
As a bilingual psychologist, Alex can conduct sessions in English or Italian.
